Sahih Muslim Book 23, Hadith Number 5079.

Chapter : It is permissible to store dates and corn for the sustenance of one’s children.

‘Aisha reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: ‘Aisha a family which has no dates (in their house) its members will be hungry; (or) ‘Aisha the family which has no dates its members may be hungry. He said this twice or thrice.
