Sahih Muslim Book 23, Hadith Number 4920.

Chapter : It is forbidden to prepare Nabidh is varnished jar, gourd, green pitcher, and hollow stumps.

Thumama b. Hazn Al-Qushairi reported: I met ‘Aisha and asked her(about the utensils in which) Nabidh (may be prepared). She narrated to me that a group of ‘Abd al-Qais came to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) and asked: Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) about Nabidh. He (the Holy Prophet) forbade them to prepare Nabidh in varnished jar, hollow stumps and gourd and green pitcher.
