Chapter: Mere giving of option of divorce to women does not make divorce effective, but when it is really intended.

‘Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) gave us the option (to get divorce), but me made a choice of him and he did not count anything (as divorce) in regard to us.
