Sahih Muslim Book 7, Hadith Number 3190.

Chapter : Medina wipes out evil from it and its other names are Tabba and Taiba.

This Hadith has been narrated by Yahya b. Sa’id with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are): “Just as a furnace removes impurity,” but no mention is made of iron.
