Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 47, Hadith Number 767.

Narated By ‘Aisha : I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I have two neighbors; which of them should I give a gift to?” The Prophet said, “(Give) to the one whose door is nearer to you.”
