Authentic Supplication Number 127.

It is reported of the Prophet  that if something distressed him he would say Ya hayyu ya qayyumu, bi-rahmatica ‘astagheethu (148).

Reported by At-Tirmithi, and Al-Albani said it was comely hadeeth. He said that in At-Tirmithi’s chain of ascription there was a weak person: Ar-Riqashi whose name was Yazeed which also appeared in a report by Ibn As-Sunni (#332); however, this hadeeth has testimonial in Al-Mustadrak (#509/1). Al-Albani included this hadeeth in The Authentic of Good Sayings as #98.
